PD hunt this summer

I have a thought in my mind to go hunting some prairie dogs this summer. I have no clue about where to go. I live in Missouri.

Anyone have any ideas on where would be a good place. I dont mind self guiding as long as I know I will get access to a spot with a few dogs.

I am not adverse to paying for hunting privlidges. I do not want to pay for a full up guide.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Talk to the Game and Fish Department people in the states you may wont to hunt . Plague has reduced the prairie dog population in some areas . Where I live, there are no prairie dogs in some of the towns where I had shot them.

Last year when I was out west S.D. the numbers were bad. Some town were dead where a year before there were tons of dogs. Good luck.
