Parts for new build are coming together- thanks!!

I recently posted in the marketplace asking for advice on actions. I apologize for that but you were all nice enough to answer anyways so thank you!!

With all your answers I ended up purchasing a Kelbly Atlas Tactical action and it should be here mid next week so I can't wait to get my hands on it! Little nervous with this purchase at first but your responses have helped!!

Other parts to build;

- kelbly atlas tac .308 bolt face
- manners t5 stock
- badger bottom metal
- jewel trigger set at 1.5 lbs
- working out a deal on a bartlein marksmen contour 1:7.5 twist 6mm blank

Can't wait to get everything together.

You will be very happy with your choice of action. Your other components are also great choices. Keep us posted it should be a great rifle.

I can feel your 'jitteryness' (is that a word?) LOL. I started building my current rifle in Jan. should have my barreled action in about 2 weeks. It's taken a long time but, I was bound and determined that all the parts would be paid for before I put the gun together. Good Luck on your build.

Awesome! What are you building now? It always feels like forever! This build was suppose to be a budget build as I've been trying not to spend as much money on firearms recently. But the way things played out I got too lucky.

The original build was suppose to be a Remington 700, HS/grayboe stock, benchmark/bartlein bbl, timney trigger

The manners with the badger bottom metal I traded a used HS plus 300 cash for!! The jewel was on sale plus had a gift card, once I had those components I just had to get a custom action which was on sale for a good price!!

.20 Practical. I can't believe I'm saying this but, next will be a 6.5x47. I had said I was through but, here I go again.

Haha always seems to work that way. After the 260 rem I figured I'd do a varmint cal and a 20 tactical fell into my lap and is the reason for the 6mm build. My next will definitely be a 30 cal of some sort!! 300. Win mag most likely
