I may have an opportunity to buy a rifle with a Panda action. I've never owned a rifle with an aluminum action. Are there any issues with the aluminum wearing, warping, or other problems with them?

No issue at all. They are top notch. They have a steel insert that carries the load regarding bolt thrust and virtually any load bearing. There are more options for good actions than ever before but I stick by my advice to all that you can't go wrong with three of the best. Just go with a Borden, Bat or a Kelbly and you'll be happy with the product you get and being what I call the "big three", resale value is a proven factor with those vs some of the new makes out there these days. None have any earth shattering advancements, if they even claim anything over the standbys that are well proven. If you're one that likes to test new things and can afford it if it's not what you hoped, then by all means, try others. But it's not a small investment and the three I mentioned are all safe bets and hold resale value better than others.I may have an opportunity to buy a rifle with a Panda action. You can’t go wrong with a Panda, and I’m with Butch on this one, it’s what I would use for a new build. Add the fact they have the BEST customer service in the industry, (JMHO) is the icing on the cake.I may have an opportunity to buy a rifle with a Panda action. Get it. They shoot lights out. We have two of them.I may have an opportunity to buy a rifle with a Panda action. I've never owned a rifle with an aluminum action. Are there any issues with the aluminum wearing, warping, or other problems with them?
One thing nobody mentions, and I especially like,is that the Stolle Panda has approximately 30% more bedding area than round receivers and the flat bottom and sides resist torque better than round receivers.I may have an opportunity to buy a rifle with a Panda action. I have two also and I wouldn't trade for any others either. I also have 4 bolts, which with pandas, are interchangeable between the two. 2 are ppc bolts. Others are 223 and 308 bolt faced. Shoot anything except magnums. Have a Wichita for that. One thing nobody mentions, and I especially like,is that the Stolle Panda has approximately 30% more bedding area than round receivers and the flat bottom and sides resist torque better than round receivers.
I also like the longer tenon for support of heavier barrels. There are many good actions to choose from, but I don't think there is a better action. I own 2 and wouldn't trade for anything else.
Good luck and stay safe.
