Anyone else having delivery problems from them ? They have owed me a counterbore reamer for well over two months. Yes, its paid for. I cant get them to answer the phone, return my calls, or email. Are you sure it's already been charged? I've had lots of things be backordered from them after I order them on their site, but I've never been charged for something until it ships.

Not sure why you can't get ahold of them via phone - I just talked to them the other day. Emails are futile - you'll never get a response. Leaving a VM to get a return call is also futile. Only thing you can do is call them and get someone on the phone. Try a few different times during the day, you'll get them eventually.

Update ! Called ptg on the 08 #, Jimmy Answered the Phone on the second ring. Said he would check into it,and call me back tomorrow . Jessica was gone for theday but he seemed helpful. Thanks everyone , Andy

I've heard the "I'll call you back" thing many of times. Keep calling...you'll eventually get an answer and your stuff. They are expanding and not sure the status of that. I'm sure things will get better...

I do need to call myself and order a free bore reamer and I'm sure I am looking at a 2-6 month wait.

Why not just deal with someone that can take care of you with the first phone call/order??

JGS is a little more expensive, but they get it right the first time.

While PT&G may take a bit to sort out your order, I have dealt with JGS as well. THey make a good reamer, no question. To say that they don't have issues would be a mistake. I have ordered several different tools from them and had to return half for issues. One was a reamer that chattered from new (they resharpened it) and the other was a crowning tool who's shank was ground oversize and didn't fit my reamer holder.

They made good on the mistakes but it took time and shipping costs on my part.

Would I order again from either of these companies. Yes. They both produce a good product and are run by human beings.

I agree. Not bashing, just throwing another name out there.

Getting a timely response from PTG these days requires some time & patience but is worth it. Considering how much they have expanded their product line, the order delays and required repeat phone attempts is understandable. But in the end I get the custom reamer I needed, (and/or other parts) and it still took a lot less time then when I order a barrel from somebody. I appreciate that they always manage to stay polite and helpful too.

+1 Out of stock items can be 4 to 6 weeks. I called them a couple times on my last order. There are several people answering the phones. My experience was great. Later! Frank

Ordered my first ever reamer from them yesterday. Actually called the day before to talk to Dave Kiff. He was busy, but he called me back yesterday to discuss what I was looking for, and luckily they had a reamer in that was nearly identical to what I was looking for.....waiting to see when I'll get it after the extremely slight mod I asked for

I've got two Savage bolt heads and one reamer on order from PT&G. Was told 8 weeks but things happen ( like busy, busy, busy) and they might not show up when I would like. Not a problem. They'll get here when they get here.
It's the GUN BUSINESS and things take time. Learn to live with it.

I got the sense it was for Rem 700 bottom metal.

The Military doesn't have special suppliers, they order a lot of items from the same companies we do. But they get priority.
