P51 Mustang stock

I used to work right next to the Runway at the Bismarck Airport. A few times a year I would hear a distinctive sound of the beautiful Merlin, making its way to the end of the Runway. Sitting and idling awaiting permission for take off.. I would drop what I was doing and just sit and watch until I could not see or hear it any longer....

Almost ready to come back home…..Brett has totally knocked it out of the park and then some. Absolutely a true work of art and beauty and I cannot wait to get it all put back together and head out to the range with it. Totally amazing!!! I’m just blown away with the detail craftsmanship.

Mark its been a pleasure working with you and completing this.
Quite intimidating knowing the history of the Tuskegee Airmen and the history of this plane, I wanted to have it be a good representation.
You know I want pictures when you get it assembled.

That will be done my friend.

that is an amazing piece of work! History overflowing.

The stock is back home and the action is installed. This project has turned out way above my expectations. Brett has outdone himself on this one. A little bit a brief history… I have a piece of artwork that is quite large that has this particular aircraft but in black-and-white. After a lot of research I determined it was a P51-C Mustang and the Tuskegee aircraft piloted by Donald Hinz. Shortly after this I saw this aircraft at a air show I went to. Just love the P51’s in general, but this one is special and a true piece of history.

Again I want to greatly thank Brett and all his hard work and his great attention to details and his craftsmanship.

That seems like it might be a bit offensive to some. Not that I am one to shy away from being controversial. Are you alumni, descendant from someone who flew that aircraft or have some other skin in the game?

In elementary school when I was living at Ft. Benning we took a field trip to Tuskegee. A huge focus though at the time was on George Washington Carver.

Well I would just say that you should expect some nut job to have a hard time with your choice of design!

Looks good!
