Two forums, both competition-centric.
One for Long Range, other for National Match course of fire.
For the unknowing, the former is all prone, 800-1,000 yards.
The latter is ‘position’ shooting, more often than not with a Service Rifle: offhand (200 yds), sitting rapid-fire (also 200 yards), prone rapid-fire (300 yards) then prone slow-fire (600 yards).
Both have adherents to the newer Mid-range discipline. That’s all prone too, officially 300, 500 and 600 yards but most often just shot at 600.
Good people, as the folks here, but different disciplines compared to BR, PRS, 3-gun, etc. You haven’t tried ‘em, maybe you should! We don’t bite....
