When I post 3 $$$ that to me means $100-$999. You can get a lot of scope for those dollars.
I put a Athlon Argos BTR 2 10-40x56 on my wife's CZ457 American. I got it from Camera Land for $299 at the time, it was on sale. Definitely not top tier but it does the job.

I based my purchase of the Ares 15-60 on my friends BTR 10-40 and how it was when I looked through it.

Oh I am here, just seeing what you guys are using and making sure I’m not missing out on any scope options. I enjoy all the constructive feedback. Not serious competition just fun shoots and local non sanctioned fun. And as always,It’s just a matter of how much you want to put into it $$$ wise.

Well help us help you. lol If someone recommends a $5000 scope and you only want to spend $700 then that is no help for you. Or if someone recommends a high power SFP scope and you shoot NRL/PRS then that is no use for you. And if someone recommends a FFP scope in the 5-25 range but you shoot BR then that's no use for you. We can recommend scopes all day long but until you tell us what you are doing with it specifically and how much you want to spend then it's just a post about people's favorite scopes.
