Open barrel channel

Have a Manners T2 stock and looking for someone to open barrel channel to fit my Bartlein Carbon fiber barrel. I don’t want to mess up a good stock.

Get a set of deep set sockets and 60/80 grit sand paper. Wrap paper around the right sized socket... go to town.

This is probably the quickest and easiest and you don't have to trust ups/FedEx etc. The only thing I would add is that if you use adhesive backed sandpaper and a locking ratchet extension it goes easier.
You could use a wood dowel too but you might have to get a little creative to get different steps in diameter compared to a rack of sockets.
Take your time and try not to go gonzo and you'll be done before you know it. If you wanted to seal it after, some thin superglue wiped on smooth with a folded piece of paper would be quick and cheap.

Thanks. What I did. Used 1” aluminum tubing. Now it fits perfectly.
