O'Leary announces new refinery

There is no Better place than N.D. look at all the oil at there door step.
I've been saying this for ever why build a pipeline all the way down to Texas to refine the oil then ship it all over the country.
I hope they build a couple in N.D but there's gonna be a battle royal, unless the W.H changes for a few terms I dont think it will ever happen.

The lack of refinery capacity should be a national security emergency... But strangely, it isn't.

There should be a refinery in every state. Refining should be a modular function and decentralized, simply for security reasons. Capitalism should have zero to do with it.

The sheer lack of refining is further evidence our government has been taken over by people that want to destroy this country, not preserve it.

The communist administration here in Michigan would never allow it, it would make to much sense.
You guys are screwed up. You have a 70 year old pipe line going under lake Michigan that they are afraid will leak but the state won't let the company replace it with new technology. Now that the libs have control of everything in Michigan you'll will be as screwed up as we are in California.

That's a big deal! Hope they can secure an oil supply. Due to little tony' s shutdown of the country, several existing refineries were converted to produce other more profitable products. My understanding is our shortfall of refining capacity is the bottleneck in the US, not the ability to get oil.

First, I wish him the best with this project. Now just for the sake of conversation, what if N.D. tells the Feds to go pound sand and builds it anyway?

Next we come to how to deliver it to where it has to go to, it may surprise you but one of the biggest of all time contributors to the Dem's happens to own a railroad with lots of tank cars.

Do you think just maybe this could be one of the reasons those pipelines were shut down? Gosh, hard to believe isn't? So if N.D. is willing to offer a sweetheart deal to that railroad owner, ... that if there isn't a rail line already there, there would be one very soon. And yes I bet we would get to pay for it as well.

Next?

With Alberta and Saskatchewan energy resources just a short pipeline away to the North to feed a Refinery's needs if necessary, but the Liberal government we have in power is also trying to shut down natural resources in Canada, it doesn't fit the current Green agenda unfortunately.

EVEN if it could get started, takes years to build one.
We could go though a couple of presidents before it might be done.
With the way things and car companies are going towards batteries,
I don't see this getting farther than talk.
