Those were accurate to two decimal places, you might interpolate to three.
Still have my Post slide rule (with case) that I take to school (Aviation Maintenance) to amaze my students. Back in engineering school (Parks College) we always asked our professors if slide rule accuracy was acceptable on our exams. If not, you did all of the math long hand!!!! Try that with today's students. If you asked them what 6 X 8 was they would have to break out the calculator on their cell phones!

Still have my Post Vesalog and! the manual! There were no hand held calculators when I was in college (BSME, Auburn University, 1970).
