Old Age, New Trident Rest

Not sure what you mean since I saw this on my order.

“Prices shown already include all import duties and taxes. Your order will be delivered straight to your door—no hidden fees, no surprises.”
My duty fee was separately billed. I entered CC info. and it was home free sailing.

To remove any confusion, this paid tariff service is something new I implemented. Some of my previous customers had to pay the tariff separately but if in your invoice you received this notification

“Prices shown already include all import duties and taxes. Your order will be delivered straight to your door—no hidden fees, no surprises.”

Then you don't have to worry about tariff. You just need to wait for the item to arrive at your address.

Yep, Mr. Lionel did just what he said here. Responded to my email very quickly. The shipper advises mine will be here this week. Early Christmas!

Received my Trident rest today which shipped earlier than indicated and arrived a day early.

Now for initial impressions….AWESOME. The quality is exceptional and the packaging is also great. Very easy to assemble with great instructions.

Thank you Chris for an exceptional product. Now to the range to see how it functions…the most important attribute.

My Trident came in yesterday. This thing is a work of art. It came packaged super well too. I need to say something about @ChrisLionel … He is top notch. There was a mixup at customs and he handled it very, very professionally. The communication during the whole process was a breath of fresh air and there was never a time when I didn’t know exactly what was going on: from the fixing of some issues before he shipped it, to shipping and the issue with tariff duties. He is as professional as they get and he has my business for life. Now to the range tomorrow to play with my new Trident.

And if you have one and want to know how to store it…. It fits perfectly in an Apache 4800 from Harbor Freight. Mine was $51 out the door today. I’m gonna video shooting off of it this weekend for anyone who is curious and I’ll post it or post a link to it.
Blessings.

So funny. I just came home with the exact case but in orange for my newly arrived Trident rest. Thanks for displaying the layout since I will copy it.

By the way, what are the bag of nuts for. I couldn’t figure that one out

I'll be headed out to get one tomorrow. Thanks. I won't be able to shoot off mine until next week. Agree with everything you said about @ChrisLionel. He is an over-communicator. Curious how to get some sand feet for f-class?

Funny thing is I almost bought the orange too.

I have no idea what the cap nuts are for. They are the same threads as the feet. I’m not sure if they are to put on them for protection from the points of you took them out or maybe something else. I wondered the same thing.

I’m not sure of the threads on the different brands of feet that’s available. But you could get a bushing or find a set with the same threads. Every where I shoot matches has concrete pads and when I practice I have to shoot from a portable table because the grass is too high. But I would also like to have a set just in case.

That may be it….for protection.

Just finished “plucking” mine. Came out great. Thanks for the photo.

The bag of acorn nuts are to cover the feet when storing. This rest will also fit in a Apache 3800 case especially if you pitch that pick and pluck crap and get some Kaizen foam.
