I think you meant 60 Gigahertz.
Yes, typo when I was typing on the bus in a hurry.

Except that the Garmin works all of the time.Sounds like, shared software, probably same internals. Just visual branding differences. Sort of like all NASCAR look the same except for the colors.
That doesn't give us much of a shot at BCThere are two velocity measurements, one at muzzle, one at 5 yds.
Hi S Prarie- Hope ur doing well these days. Its all Good to me but I dont believe in coincidences and Im a curious devil. I just believe the introduction of the Garmin and the new LR have to be intwined somehow. Curioushoz would like to know what really happened but we will probably never find out. Bottom line though is I hope they all survive in the marketplace so we have more choices, more supply and mabie even a little better prices. Iv got an LR, a garmin, and i would prob get the new LR but not for 600–Oh yeah’ that’s back when they had I phones with more technology than the Apollo space program and still no one could figure out how to make a small chronograph that wouldn’t miss a shot. They also had eight years to evolve and haven’t made a move until Garmin kicked they’re ass.
For that reason, I'll be keeping the big orange for now...That doesn't give us much of a shot at BCBut it will satisfy the bulk of the market.

At least i say that now— have a good one
Things are heating up. Interested to know if it's made in China.oh interesting... now there is a Caldwell VelociRadar for $499.
Oehler 33 & 35. Works great and outstanding customer service. What were you using before the Lab Radar? I remember wasting so much ammo and load development range sessions using a Chrony or the CED, Hell, I remember shooting those chicken $hit units on purpose!
I still really like my old Lab Radar, several years ago, after using a buddies LR I ordered one as soon as I got home. It was very reliable in any lighting conditions compared to those others. With that said, I am a Garmin owner and really like it.
Hope LR survives.
It could be a recoil trigger. What's up with the cable?
Their market had always been mainly commercial units not the little hobby units that we all used. Most likely why they never cared much about the hobby units. I doubt their commercial market has gone away. Maybe they’ve seen the light that there’s $$$ to be made from us?Labradar is probably not going to financially survive from this in the long run,
I love the idea that the caldwell can do BC and downrange velocity, however, seeing some other videos of the cadlwell, it looks about 65% of the size of a lab radar. The caldwell just seems like a bulky formfactor that will not save me any baggage over what I'm already bringing to the range. The Caldwell one does make me wonder a bit, see it uses Chirp tech, same as fishfinders. I'd like to hear from folk like Garmin why they didn't use it, they've been selling it for years. does come with a recoil operated trigger you can attach to the gun if you think you need it. Supposedly can indicate BC as it can track out to 100yds. Have to wait for some reviews on that I suppose, supposed to be sending out 100 pcs for folks to test, probably late next month. Said they'd been working on it for 5yrs.
It's a cord to external power, according to others in this thread. It could be a recoil trigger.
