I just finished putting together an "extra parts" rifle. Still needs to be blued and stock refinished, but....

Worked over a 1917 Enfield action. Was given an old Fajen stock, and had a take off 26" Hart barrel sitting around dated 11-4-198x something. Cleaned up the barrel, re-fit it to the receiver, fitted the stock and threw on a scope from another rifle to test it. This is just a standard .308 Win.

Seems to put 5 shots into a nice little group with an old BR load. This was my first group out of the rifle.

La50, very nice setup, how does she track?

She tracks outstanding indeed. - This was the first day I had her out. Shot her at 100 & 200 yds and in the early morning with the scope turned way up there was very little need for any correction with the joy-stick on the SEB MAX rest. - I plan to try a large "fixed" type rest that I have as well (in the near future). - I just need to do a "mod" to the bag plate on the rest top to fit the threaded post for that rest.
- I'm a believer in the Tracker stocks, Bill has created a very good design that sits low and tracks very true. - The rear set of rails are also adjustable in both axis' so there's the ability to adjust how she runs on the bags. - In my mind this is a very innovative design. - Bill Shehane is a great guy to work with and there's no doubt that the sport & components he provides for are done with pride and passion.
