Octagonal barrel question

Green Mountain sells octagonal blanks as well. Not sure what your MOA requirements are, but if its not for comp then GM are cheaper too

Thanks. Mcgowan sells them too. I’m going with Krieger, Rock Creek, Lederer, or Bartlien. Maybe Brux. Still floating it.

Built a Remington 700 with a Lilja Octagon barrel, chambered in 375-06 Ackley, turned out real nice. Round on the breech for 2.5 inch and then transitioning to octagon. Had to polish the flats by hand as was stated on the Lilja website. As was posted already contour the blank, time with action, and then chamber

I had McGowan do an octagon blank for me a couple years ago. I was quite happy with it.

They do great work at a fair price. They use a CNC.
