Obama or Clinton both bad news for gun owners!

The problem is the people in our country don't have the gall to stand together. That is the reason we were given the right to kkeep and bare arm is to keep the government from overrunning the country.
God bless each of us because I think a revolution is on the way, and God knows I hate to say that. I hope I didn't offend anybody.

As you can probably tell by my screen name, I agree with whats being said, but I will refrain from my comments because I could type all night and not say everything I have to say.

Not to mention I would get myself so worked up I would never get to sleep tonight.

God bless.

Same thing here in Belgium which, for a European country, used to be quite liberal concerning gun ownership. Left-wing politicians were waiting for an occasion to push us to the brink of extinction since the late eighties. Finally in 2006 they got what they wanted as some psycho bought a gun in shop in Antwerp and started shooting people on the street. In the weeks thereafter a makeshift law was rushed through parliament and people were obliged to deliver their guns without comps if they were not legit sport shooters or hunters, and these had to go through a lot of expenses and red tape to re-registers their guns).

On the topic of standing together I can only add that what the government didn't destroy so far will probably be lost through disagreements and in-fighting within the several shooting federations and action groups.

Don't let this happen to you - stand together

SILVER EAGALE, I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK UP UP ABOUT STAYING ON YOUR FEET AND NOT ON YOUR KNEES. I LOVE MY COUNTRY. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE A REVOLUTON. I WANT GOOD AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN STAND UP AND SAY THAT IS ENOUGH. HOW SHALL WE PROCEED? ANYONE?

A very good start would be to not put people in the White House in no shape or form that believes anything other than the truth.
And, we all know what the truth is. There is no question about it. An oath sworn to PROTECT AND UPHOLD the Constitution is just that. No ifs, ands, or maybes should be accepted. Secondly, WE the people need to stand together as one and if it takes it go to the White House like some of these other groups do. The Gov. needs the people to let them KNOW WE ARE THE MAJORITY and WE COUNT. How many shooters can truthfully say, I will stand up and be counted? O K So I just asked another question.

billmo,
I tried to get a group together to go to the White House this summer about gun control something like a Million gun March and had only 7 takers, just tried to see what kinda response I would get.
If someone wanted to try again, I'd go in a second. And I think that it would be a good idea if gun owners would do that.

The problem is not just with Obama and Clinton with respect to loosing our second amendment rights.

Just a little quiz.

Who was the sitting president at the only time in recent American history that guns were taken away from average citizens that had broken no laws?

Its something to think about.

The answer is George W. Bush in 2005. New Orleans during Huricane Katrina. The last time before that was Boston 1774.

He didnt propose it but he didnt stop it from happening either.

We have to stick together against anyone wiling to take our rights and way of life away from us. It doesnt matter if they have an R or a D beside there name. Often times it is the same person hiding behind those letters.

Guys, the R and D junk don't matter. What does matter is "what does that person believe is right and just for the people". We have got to keep those that want total control of every aspect of our lives out of the Gov. We were given rights by "NO MAN" Think about it. Should man be able to take them away? No, I 'm no religious fanatic but I do believe in a true and living God that gave up the perfect son for every last one of us. How on earth as a nation can we allow any "fake" Gov. to take away the freedoms and liberties that our fore fathers fought for under the supervision of an "Almighty GOD". Think about it long and hard my friends. This nation will not stand if we don't stand for it. Remember, "We are the people".

EDIT: When you guys get ready to stand up and be counted, count me in.

I'm in for a million man march on DC for gun owner rights, and count in my dad to....

I think this needs to be changed to a "March for our Contitutional Right",, all of them))) Freedom, Liberty, And all of the Bill of Rights.

I just think a "March For Our Constitutional Rights" just sounds better than a gun march don't you think?? and that would be doing the same thing.

My food plot at my deer lease didn't do well this year either.......I guess we need a new president!!!!

It rained on my day off.....that must be Bush's fault too!!

Come on!!!! Give me a break! Is the president responsible for rats in your attic too?

I guess you would have rather had Kerry or Al Gore?

Apache, I think you have missed what I was trying to say. First off you could pick your favorite talk show host, pundant, politician, ect and they would look like a left winger next to me.

To be clear I voted for president Bush both times, Bush senior, Ross Perot, and Reagan. I was relatively satisfied with Bush's first term and thats why I voted for him a second time, instead of staying home). In his first term he seemed to have a backbone, in his second term he started sounding like a liberal.

Even though I voted for him I will not fall in lock step and defend him just because thats what the Republicans say to do. I was sold a bill of goods that was nothing like what I was supposed to get.

When they place a hand on the bible and take these oaths,
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same: that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

"I do solemnly swear,or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I expect them to do exactly what they say they are going to do, when 80% of the American people say they want to protect our borders and the president says basicly to kiss his ass, thats not protecting us from a foreign invasion. Thats grounds for impeachment. A person cant scream "war on terror" out of one side of his mouth and then say he wants open borders out of the other,it doesnt add up).

When he wanted to give port security over to a middle eastern country,Du Buy) and the people shot it down he threatend to use his veto pen for the first time. Thats protecting us?

I could go on all day but thats a start. He told us we were voting for a conservative. He my friend IS NOT a conservative by any stretch of the imagination. Unfortunately I dont see any on the horizon.

With respect to the gun grab in New Orleans, he is THE head of the executive branch and could have put a stop to that in a matter of minutes. Not only could he have done it, but you can see from the oath he took that it was his most important duty,to defend the constitution).

Im not saying he didnt do anything good because that would be untrue, but when you have 300,000,000 people in the country I do believe we could do better than what we have in all of goverment. Out of that many people and the job being so important we should be looking for perfection not the least worst.

Please dont fall into the trap of defending someone just because your party says too, or because you voted for him. The people need to start cleaning house when someone does a bad job and maybe we can get a fresh start before its to late.
I will vote against every incumbent reguardless of party just to get the people that are driving this country into the crapper out of here. Its all I can do at this point to save my country.

Sorry for the long post.

With all the anti-gun bills being passed recently I heard someone say "I love my country and hate my government." I thought they hit the nail on the head.

See the future of the usa in this video??????

Inevitably,as far as the 2nd Amendment goes, a time will come within most of our lifetimes when the government forces more people of this Country to become criminals as it has so many times in the past.

I was curious yesterday as to what peoples first reaction was to hearing the word 50 caliber sniper rifle. So I asked a few people. Their reactions were not good. They thought that only the military should have them and that they should be banned from civilians. I gave them facts about the 50 calibers, like that they have never been used in any crime in the US ever. After I gave them some information about them they became interested in them. After only five minutes of talking to them I had reversed their opinion of them entirely from negative to positive. I believe that us gun owners need to inform the public about guns. They have been lead to believe what the media tells them, which all to often only tells the bad stories on guns and people misusing them. I believe that by informing the public about the true facts of guns we can have a lot better chance at keeping our guns that we love so much. Oh and by the way they were Obama supporters, and had no idea that he is that gungho about "gun control" as he calls it, and had no idea that his semi-automatic gun ban included so many guns we use for hunting. Just my 2 cents.
