I will add/put a new twist on on it. 6.9 million people selling 1.5 boxes when the President/Congressional members they voted for bans their firearm.6.9 million of those probably still have 1.5 boxes of the 2 boxes they bought with that new gun. Keeping it in the closet for when SHTF.
Those types sincerely believe those laws weren’t meant for them so they don’t have to comply.I will add/put a new twist on on it. 6.9 million people selling 1.5 boxes when the President/Congressional members they voted for bans their firearm.

^^^^^^Agree The primers are the key to controlling firearms. The easiest way to get what they want and it won't show up on the radar until it's too late.Gentlemen....I have seen this shortage before...I was one of those early post war babies...had my first .410 in 1958. I can tell you my gut tells me that primers available for reloading in any quantity and at at a reasonable price are years off. Think of this..hoarders have learned a lesson..and will scoop up the availability for years to come...what is the value to reload without primers....captive audience to factory ammo...what value is a firearm without ammo or primers for reloading in larger quantities..I.e. 5.56 AR...hell boys...if the Feds control the primers the control or banning of “assault weapons” is a moot point...what is a firearm without ammo or primers for reloading....A Club....ask a caveman how effective that was. Off shore primer and powder manufacturing could write their own check. Remember prohibition and offshore smuggling.
I heard Guffy is giving on-line classes, but students must supply their own datums. You wouldnt believe how many have stopped by to learn how to reload because they cant find ammo
And he promises to not drive anybody to the curbI heard Guffy is giving on-line classes, but students must supply their own datums.
I got boxes upon boxes of 41’s that’s ridiculous!... I’m rich and don’t even know it!.... sorry Paul I couldn’t resist!Forum Boss:
1. Primers ARE right now being made at max capacity, given staffing limitations in some of the factories.
2. Primers are being used in factory-loaded ammo, which has a higher profit margin.
3. People are buying large quantities, which is sweeping supplies off the market.
4. Very high prices have motivated speculators. 1000 CCI 41s sold for $315 on Gunbroker a few days ago. Auction 2/11/2021:

5. There have been, by one estimate, 7 million new gun owners in 2020. If each purchases just two 50-rd boxes of ammo, that represents SEVEN HUNDRED MILLION primers needed.
6. Foreign primers are not getting into the USA in the quantities of years past.
7. Executives of big companies, such as Vista Outdoor, are predicting shortages well into the late fall of 2021.
I'm not sure much more needs to be said. But if you guys want to talk about it go ahead for the next 12 hours, then I will lock this thread. Along with the 20+ other "primer crisis" threads started in the last few weeks.
Probably grounds for ejection, but I like Michelob.I like Guinness, Stella Artois and Bittburger pilsner beers..? What kind do you all like?
I know this is a where are the primers thread but damn.... just damn...
Been a long time, but I love Michelob.Probably grounds for ejection, but I like Michelob.
Why bother? No one forces anyone to click on the thread. Most of the posts are whining or other wastes of time, but this is the biggest issue in the shooting sports today. I find what people are DOING about it interesting.I'm not sure much more needs to be said. But if you guys want to talk about it go ahead for the next 12 hours, then I will lock this thread. Yeah it will be awhile before things are normal. But where you're wrong imo is that most won't learn a lesson, once they see all the shelves somewhat full again they won't want to buy anything. It's human nature. If people think they can get an item anytime they wish, they have no urgency to buy.Gentlemen....I have seen this shortage before...I was one of those early post war babies...had my first .410 in 1958. Of the three listed, Stella Artois is the one I would choose. I have a fondness for eastern European Pilsners, German wheat beers and several of the Belgian Trappist Ales. Another style I really like is a Weizenbock, it's like a Dopplebock/Wheat Ale mix. The taste sensations are out of this world, the one I'm most familiar with is Aventinus, two half liters of this and I want to go lay downI like Guinness, Stella Artois and Bittburger pilsner beers..? Covid lockdowns, stimulus checks and boredom is what started the ball down hill. Folks either went and shot out of boredom, bought guns to shoot with friends, or got nervous at how fast their freedoms could be curtailed. Its unbelievable how many people i work with bought their first gun around march or aprilYeah it will be awhile before things are normal. I knew there would be an issue at election time, of course I did not realize it would start in March.
All good at my house, knock on wood! I just got back from my neighbors. They’d lost their water, so I went and fixed it for them. He’s a feisty 85.How are those pipes???
Nice work! Take care of that man! He may have some primers to give....All good at my house, knock on wood! I just got back from my neighbors. They’d lost their water, so I went and fixed it for them. He’s a feisty 85.
