NRA Reform candidates

Bat Rastard

Gold $$ Contributor
I am glad to see WLP gone. I got a flier for 4 for Reform.
These are people who care for the NRA and want to steer it right.
Of the 4, I know 1, Phil Journey. His integrity is beyond reproach. If he is recommending these other 3, that's good enough for me. The flier is in the attachment.

I’m gonna vote. Please provide feedback/perspective on honest, responsible candidates. We have the 4 Reform in Bat Rastard’s post above.
I hear there is a lady named Janet Nyce from PA that would be good. Don’t know her, but from a reliable PA resident/sportsman.

Gotta be in it to win it! Voting is our only option to effect change.

Money and power has always lead to corruption, I don’t believe the next man or woman will be any different or change the scenario.

Trump is getting railroaded in crooked New York. Anybody consider
that maybe the NRA is getting the same treatment. Or should we just
follow along like sheep?
I was born, raised and worked most of my life in NY, but about 8 years ago I saw the handwriting on the wall and moved out.
I can tell you that NY City real estate is a dog eat dog business. What Trump did was what every other real estate magnate does in NY City. He did nothing wrong and is definitely being railroaded. However in the case of Mr. WLP I do not believe this is the case. With the evidence presented so far I have little or no doubt in my mind that he more than took advantage of the NRA membership.
In my opinion the NY attorney general is nothing more than a crooked political hack however, sometimes even your worst enemies can inadvertently do you favors. If it wasn’t for the “legal” action in the crooked state of NY, Mr WLP would probably still be helping himself to an unfair share of the NRA donations and membership dues.
The one other thing that really lites my fuse is that over the past number of years I have constantly gotten requests from the NRA for donations in the mail. They even sent me a letter asking me to remember them in my will. BUT take a look at the envelope they give you to mail in your ballot. It isn’t even postage paid, it requires a stamp. They don’t want you to vote so they can keep their cronies in control. It’s worth the stamp to vote for “new reform” candidates and absolutely not for any existing board members.

Short answer: No

Long answer: Wayne used your money (and mine) as his personal toy and travel fund. He was in it for his own benefit and the strength of the anti gun crowd in the US today is testament to how little he did for his members. That he also played into the NY witch hunt should make the membership even more angry.

Fix the NRA?
Voting?
New hope? What isn’t understood about ruining a once good organization?
I think the NRA should return all money to life members.
Some new board members?
No different than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I don't know any of the NRA board members or what their actions were concerning WLP .
I did not vote for any of them. I voted for the four reform candidates mentioned on this thread.
Jeff Knox said that that four new members can't stop this runaway train, but maybe they can raise enough hell to get it under control.
If you know 3 current members and know or believe that they can help, vote for them.
I sure hope the NRA can recover and I hope my vote will help.
Doing nothing accomplishes nothing.

I will vote, but not for any of the current board members. In my opinion they are all complaisant in the corruption and allowed the decline of the NRA to occur on their watch. Board members have a duty to the membership to protect our interests and manage the direction of the organization. In my opinion let us all down and do not deserve consideration.
