NOTICE: Classifieds Changes

This is mostly a notice for new users. The Forum Boss will be posting updated rules soon.

Starting immediately, posting to the Classifieds forums will require extra criteria, of which 99% of the active users should qualify for immediately. I'm not going to list them out because that would just make it easier to plan around.

The 99% I mentioned should see no changes in behavior. New and recently registered users will find it more difficult to use the Classifieds until the extra criteria has been satisfied.

So, if you are a new user, plan on waiting a little while before posting ads. Feel free to look around and join in conversations on non-classifieds threads. Please don't send me (us) messages asking why you can't register a new account and immediately post a classified ad. Lurking for 10 years doesn't count.

As a protection for our valued Forum members, we have put some new security measures in place in the Marketplace area.

For security reasons we have recently imposed classified thread-starting restrictions based on membership profiles and activity. This gives us time to detect suspicious activities and check post irregularities.
