get on the phone,,,do something,,,Roger
great news,,,I can just run my BR reamer in +.050" and "viola",,,,I have been a "nay-sayer" so far but if they can make em long and tuff,,,sign me up !!!...Roger
I just spoke with Norma in Sweden and asked them the possibilities of making the necks even longer than originally specified, which is already over .100" longer than the fire-formed brass. They asked me to send them the specs and they will see if they are able to leave it longer than the drawing.
I think we can hopefully squeeze out another .050" in length.
Thanks.
Am i missing something, a .100 than fire formed brass? 1.550 is what i fire form to, add a .100 and hoping for more? 1.570 is the old chamber length. 1.650 length and want a extra .050??? this getting totally out of hand. might as well scrap the idea and use a 6x47L length. A Dasher with a .400 neck? A 6BR is only .322………. jim
Is it just me, or does that look like a 6mm, 6.5mm & 7mm?

Jim - you are correct. Their drawings are in metric and I must have missed something when I converted them. Anyway, I have asked them to make the necks the same length as the 6 XC necks (about .292") that are much longer than the fire-formed Dasher brass everyone is using. Let's wait and see what response I get before having a huge debate.
