Norma 6Dasher Brass

We are scheduled to get 50K by air most probably the last week of May and the balance half a million as they can produce and ship it.

Might have to limit the initial 50K shipment to 1000 per customer. When the big shipment by sea comes in then they should be any quantity anyone wants. We'll see how things go.

Sounds perfect!

This is awesome news coming with perfect timing for me. I just grabbed a barrel and plan on ordering an action this week for my Dasher build. Spoke with the smith handling the build and he is gonna call JGS about ordering a reamer to accommodate the longer neck once the exact deminsions are nailed down.

It will be so nice not having to fire form.

It's your business and you'll obviously run it as you wish. But allow me to respectfully make a comment.

IMO, 1k out of a 50k shipment is too big an allowance. How 'bout you limit initial quantizes to 2 boxes (200 rounds). That would potentially accommodate 5x the customer base. If you allow 1k lots, I promise you within 5 days of your initial shipments, the board shylocks will be selling the very same boxes for a 40% mark up. All you will do is piss off a large contingent of potential customers and ultimately put money in someone else's pocket after you took all the initial risk.

The argument for buying large quantizes to ensure "identical" cases from the same lot has no real credence here. It's basically all 1 lot. And 2 boxes is sufficient for existing Dasher owners to test the cases and report how they perform. In fact, the real acid test comes after repeated firings. Even if someone buys 1k cases, they will only process 100 or so cases and those they will fire over and over to test them out.

If you want to get all the initial 50k sold and satisfy as many customers as is possible, how 'bout you start taking preorders now. Limit initial quantities to some modest number like 2 boxes. Once the preorders are satisfied and if you have inventory remaining, then open the flood gates.

Thank you for making this investment and good luck!

I 100% have to disagree with the above. I don't see anyone being desperate enough to pay a 40% mark up on product that will essentially be free flowing, even if they have to wait a little bit for it. People on this board are smart enough to either get in on the initial order, or wait to hear results from the initial order before jumping it. In either case I do not see any sky is falling scenarios here, this is still a very small niche market and no where near the same as fighting neckbeards while waiting on .22 ammunition to come in at Wal-Mart. Show me who here is hoarding or scalping premium brass??

Well spoken Kyle and Sheldon! The last thing you want to do is invoke the ire of those in the shooting sports.

Shiraz any way you can put me down for 2k incognito I've got a small entrepreneurial enterprise to run. :p:D

The final product, fully tested and fired at maximum pressure 10 times without any impact on the primer pockets. Photo received this morning.

Project moving at full speed!

FYI, I have JGS make piloted neck reamers. I buy mostly tight neck reamers and use the neck reamer to open neck to a no turn if requested. So no need to run out and buy new reamers, just order a neck reamer in your diameter of choice and put the correct neck length in your chamber. The freebore will not change so the bullet pressure ring to donut relationship will be the same.
