Norma 6Dasher Brass

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Anxious to get home and check the mail.........................

Phil.

dedeadeye/Rodger,

Other than the length, does the brass fit your old Lapua chamber good, and any problem using your resizing dies?

Thanks

Lot of people received shipments - but what's the measured OAL of the cases and what's a loaded neck dia?

Brass fits my old chamber no problem from my Harrel fl bushing die. That load/lot of H4895 gives me 3060 +- 6 fps in my .237 Krieger so psi is about 63500. Flash holes are centered and round. The 10 cases that I am working with, flash holes all are chamfered. Necks walls are .0132-.0124
and turns very smoothly? Brass in early stages seem equal to or better then Lapua. Shooting them a 1000 yards will tell the tale. Roger

What shell holder did you use?

Roger,

That sounds great ! I am looking forward to receiving mine. Sounds like they will be a great option.

Just a heads up.

We have had a couple of calls where the cases were too tight in the rim/base area to fit into the standard shell holder.

1) We have spoken to Redding and they are making a special batch of No. 1 shell holders that are plus .004" in the slot and we should be getting them by the end of next week.
2) We have also ordered a special cutter (due to arrive tomorrow) and will program our CNC machine so we can skim off a few thou from the existing shell holders. That way we can satisfy some of the people that need them in a hurry in case these cases do not fit their shell holders. Those should be available for purchase by the end of the week.
