Nightforce Competition 15-55?

I am thinking about purchasing one of these scopes, but I’m wondering why there are a few for sale in the classifieds. Any thoughts?

Guys buy and sell stuff all the time and sometimes they get caught up in the hype of more expensive must be better, although you might notice that NF comp holds the value beyond other brands.

I had one that I thought was a nice scope....A few years back, there were some issues with inconsistent point of aim. I did not experience that....I use March scopes, all per- highmaster.

Over time I've purchased and sold several, some with the reticle I love (C513), reason I've sold is normally I've sold the gun it was on and (thought) I wouldn't need it, I too have "upgraded" to a March HM but in the end have come back to the NF, at this time I have 2 NF comps, one BR and 2 March HMs. Had a Majesta but for SR BR I though it was overkill. What I will say it beware of the first year or so of the comp, was not a zero stop and (not sure) may have had some problems, I've never had a problem with one personally.

Scopes are like Red Heads .
Your heard gets turned easy .
There are lots of good scopes ,your eyes can tell .

Hell.....walk down the line of any organized rifle event......Just had mine on the
scale with the rings and bubble level. The build I'm working on will have a weight
problem I need to be mind full of. Gotta sell the March. I need another NF Comp
DDR-2.

Nothing wrong with the NF comp.
I had an extra one setting around for about a year.
Still have 2 others on rifles.
Sold it here just recently. The DDR-2 reticle didn't fit
what I wanted for my current build.
Had to please the wife and not just purchase "another scope"
I can tell her, I sold one and this one won't cost you a thing. lol

I have 2 of them! I just started shooting some again. I tried the new S6 competition scope. For my Eye condition the S6 was not for me. The only thing I which NF would add the illuminated reticle to the comp scopes.
