I see no advantage for the new nightforce competition model over the NXS other than the weight. The eye relief is short and very critical and the power seems to grossly over rated. Side by side with the NXS the comp. model had to be on 50 power to equal the NXS at 42 for image size and the comp. is darker than NXS. The comp. did shoot well as did the NXS so that is a wash and the extra clicks has no real advantage over the NXS. I go from a 100 yd. zero to a 1000 yds. with plenty of clicks extra on both ends. The big question will they hold up as well,we shall see if they turn into a UPS scope...... jim
