Just sharing...
I own several scopes, a Vortex Golden Eagle and Nightforce COMP, with a March HM on its way.
Both the Golden Eagle, and March HM have an aperture reduction ring to help with mirage, but my Nightforce does not.
A trip to my local camera store and $8 spent, I was able to get a 55mm to 58mm adapter ring and now the Golden Eagle ring will fit on my NF Comp.
Why would you want one? ... "It broadens the depth of focus allowing the shooter to more easily observe down range mirage and other wind indicators while keeping the target in focus."
