Newest "Handgun" Teslong

As usual, I need to offer a disclaimer: The following product was provided to me by Teslong for evaluation. It is releasing via Amazon around the end of this month. I have not been told pricing.

I just received Teslong's newest addition to their line of bore scopes for evaluation; the 9" handgun USB/WiFi version. This model is unique in that it works by direct connection AND WiFi. This takes care of the problem of android versus IPhone connections. If using android phones, Chromebook, Mac or Windows pcs, you can still just plug it directly to the device just as before. If you use IPhone, just plug the scope into the WiFi transmission device (rechargeable via micro-USB to USB) provided, download the app (MoView) from The App Store or Google Play, turn on the WiFi adapter and find the WiFi setting on your device. Choose the "WIFI CAM". Open the MoView app and you're off and running! This same sequence also works for android and Chromebook devices too if you choose to use wifi rather than cable. Connection required about 10 minutes total.

This version has the solid 9" probe and lighting adjustment that seems to have a better range of adjustment than the older models. Lighting can also be controlled from the WiFi unit as well as a nifty button that magnifies the image to two different sizes larger than the default. It also includes three mirrors and the sliding "bushing" that was first revealed on the 21" model. Clarity is excellent and the overall unit is ideal for most handgunners.

This model is not to be confused with the all-wire connection model NTG100P.

EDIT: Correction- the probe is 10" and will be going into general production/distribution the end of August. My apologies.

As you can see, I have a little leading here!

Have the rifle version of the Teslong bore scope. Have used it on hand guns and got a bit of a forcing cone cleaning education.

I'd like to know if the ridged wand is better than the flex cable for rifles.
A friend had this and I was really impressed.

Not necessarily "better" but different. It all depends on what you feel comfortable with. The rigid one is only 21" while the flexible one is 31". If you don't mind viewing from both ends on longer barrels, there isn't any reason to buy the flexible one. Rigid is, in theory, a little more rugged.

I also received a test sample of the handgun version rigid scope. The light glare problem has been greatly improved, even lower light adjustment than previous models. This company listens to its customers.

This handy little 10" long tool has a .625 dia. handle. It will cover quite a bit of the bore in rifles.

Damn I wish my teslong was that clear
It's all a matter of adjusting the mirror length in the end of the probe...and keeping it clean with a microfiberlens cloth. Screws in and out. Adjusting the light intensity helps too. Might be worth picking up the set of four mirrors of varying sizes for it too. They can help.
