newby with full length sizing problem

I have been resizing my brass with a redding full length die and have come across a couple of problems. I am fairly new to reloading, so I will try to explain my problem as detailed as possible in hopes that somebody can help me. After I have shot the first new reloaded round, I have found after resizing the brass, that the when going to seat the bullet, that the opening is to wide and the bullet moves freely when pressure is applied to the bullet. Sometimes even sinking back into the case. The other problem is that the cases will not feed up through my magazine because the base is too wide. It just barely hits the 2 peices of metal on top of the magazine. Could I have a faulty die? The new cases that I use will seat and feed just fine. I am reloading a 300 ultra mag. Thanks

Take out the expander ball from your die and run a couple cases through. If the bullet is tight, you may have an expander ball that is oversize.

Or try an expander ball from another dieset.
