New way to thin the crows....

I ran a crow over on my street going 25mph, he and a buddy were eating a pancaked squirrel. His buddy hopped over a couple feet but he had his back to me, I thought no way until I thumped over him and saw him in the rear view.
Smart as they generally are I reckon every so often one hatches that believes he is just too slick to get nailed. No surprise really, happens in DC all the time.

Could be that corvid have covid?
That is amazing you hit him. Very smart bird! I hunt the crap out of them. I would urge you to join CrowBusters.com and post that picture. I’m sure those boys over their( good site BTW) would be highly interested in seeing that.

..crow was embedded exactly as photographed. Popped a couple pieces loose on the cowl assembly, hoping I can snap everything back without a stay at the local body shop.
Pretty equivalent to a pukeko ( NZ swamp bird like a lightly built 2/3 size hen) I hit in my M5 BMW. Too slow taking off and I hit it about 60mph. Took out one of the kidney grilles- about $250 of ouch.

Thanks. Online time is very limited but will check it out.

Reminds me of the picture I saw of a deer that entered one of the “kidneys” head first of a BMW while going very very fast.

I once got home from a pigeon hunt and found a little brown bat wrapped around the anteannea of my Buick. Apparently his sonar didn't pick up the silver bullet.
I’ve hit 2 bats on separate occasions. Both in the same silver f150 “silver slug”.
The first was found by a PA state trooper covering half of my driver headlight as he was administering my a field sobriety test which I passed with flying colors.
the second I found in my grill one day half dried out.
