New to Wilson Die's. Arbor press anyone?

K&M with the force pack for me but you can get it without forcepack for a little over a hundred bucks I believe. 21st century, Harrells, Sinclair looks nice also as do others.21st can be had with the hydro seater same idea as K&M but hydraulic instead of mechanical bullet seating force measurement. One of them by once cry once situations.I really like being able to feel the seating of the bullets and the K&M forcepack or 21st hydro seater lets me assign a number to the different pressures and yes I can see a difference on paper with the different bullet seating pressures....

100% spot on!

I agree there a beautiful little press and very versatile. If I was a short range be guy I’m sure I would own one. Sounds like the op wanted to spend that much. I have several different ones but love the old k&m with force seat reiteration.
Do you own a Hood Dusty?

Yes i have some. I also have a few regular arbor presses. The regular old style 21st would be my go-to. I also have an old loading box with a k&m built in. If it was easier to adjust the height it would be at the top of my list

Charlie shot a lot with me back in the day, scotty is a buddy and matt is a buddy from my old town. Every time they changed em i had to have one. I got double threads, arbor on the side, jlc clicker inserts, man i got too much junk

Check with Bob White at The Shooters Corner. He has lots of good used BR guns and gear....way more than is listed on his site.

I made one for a pal using a cheapy electric drill stand like this. Made a plug to go in the round clamping hole.....he's still using it. Before I had my K&M I seated bullets with the palm of my hand or a small plastic mallet.

Good shootin'. -Al

I use a K&M Arbor press with the standard force pack. I use Wilson dies for seating as well. I love this combination.

Well I suppose I should have done more research. I got my die's and realized I need an arbor press. Any recommendations? If you have one collecting dust feel free to shoot me a pm.

Just saw this on the Grizzly site.

BE1001 Bald Eagle Mini Arbor Press

This BE1001 Bald Eagle Mini Arbor Press was designed specifically for reloaders and match shooters who use Wilson-type dies to seat bullets.
The large hand knob locks head in place firmly, yet makes it easy to adjust head up and down.

I use the 21st Century arbor press. Like the Sinclair and others very simple and easy to use. I don't shoot competition and only use it for load development at the range. After I find the load I'm looking for, I then do all my loading using a single stage press. The sage rats and prairie dogs don't know the difference. That's all I care about.

We have a Sinclair, a K&M, and one that was made by a machinist way back. I prefer the Sinclair and the one by the machinist because no Allen wrench is need for quick height changes. That's my only issue with the K&M.

But we have found the arbor dies to be way more repeatable when loading. Had many issues with the RCBS gold medal dies and many other standard press dies not setting the same load length from case to case.

Cool but overkill most would agree
I don’t think so at all. The only two I know of that will give you valid feedback that’s affordable is the K&M with force seat restoration or the 21st century hydro press any arbor press will work but these two presses are the best imho
