I'm in the midst of 'upgrading' my reloading room/equipment. I currently reload using the standard die's from RCBS...and they do ok for my hunting load in all my rifles. However, I'm trying to step up my game a little with my 280AI hunting rifle loads. So, among precise case prep, significantly more precise measurements, etc. I'm sticking with my RCBS Rock Crusher IV based on GavinToobes rx. on how precise it performs, although Im open to rx. I'm looking to get better Die's. Forster is out as they do NOT produce any 280AI Die's. I'm looking at Redding Die's.
I'll be using a Mandrel AND Neck turning so, I'm thinking I don't want(need) to use a bushing Die...(or did I get that wrong?)
So, I'm looking for Rx on a Full Length Redding Match grade Die and a Micrometer Die. Or, what other Dies should I be looking at? I shoot Barnes 145LRX however, may also shoot VLD- I see the Redding Micrometer also has a 'new' VLD Micrometer.
I appreciate any assist.
