New SEB Smallbore Rest

I won a IR50/50 factory match shooting an old 52 with a bag rider on it. Shooting off my AR250 Actually just won another IR 50/50 factory match this past weekend shooting my Anschutz off the AR250. Back to back factory wins. I’m sure my luck has run out lol. I use it also for UL which I haven’t won an UL yet. But we have an eastern regional match coming up and I have a nice one piece rest but I think I’ll use the AR250 because I just think it’s speed is an advantage In tough conditions.

Well no pics yet but I received my AR250 today at 130pm EST.
I ordered it Friday at 730am EST. Maybe 3-1/2 days from order to receive...WOW
I slapped her together mounted gun and calibrated it and she is so smooth...
I will pop up some pics up tomorrow, we just got back from my Grandsons graduation.
I do have but 2 questions...
1: When traversing the movement at the lowest level there is a notch dead center, I assume this is normal?
2: I have read through this and I just want to confirm if the "twist to snug" handle and counter balance pin is newer version or older version? DISREGARD FOUND MY ANSWER
Don't get me wrong it works great, there is no play and its easy to remove need be
Thank you and thanks to Chris and his team for a great product and ultra fast delivery

Just received mine. Ordered Tuesday morning and was delivered Friday. Super nice rests. Nothing I’ve seen can even get close to it for the money.

I’m machining a 3/4” thick aluminum plate to mount mine to and then a PQP mechanical rest on the rear to make it a one piece rest. It will bolt to the plate and the feet will be on the corners of the plate. Two in front and one in the rear.

It will be quick and easy to remove so I can use it alone with a rear bag also.

Very happy with the purchase.

Would love to see that when it is done. You might have a market for it as well.

It's my understanding any duty or import taxes depend on the receiving country. DHL might need to collect them before delivery, but they do not impose them.

Just shipping costs for delivery in the US. I must day, the shipping cost was reasonable for the quick delivery to another country.

I ordered an AR250 two weeks ago and received it within a week via DHL. Great company to have international freight shipped through.
After reading all of the previous posts in the chain I can see the improvements that have been incorporated into my version of the rest. The quality is top tier with nothing to wish for.
I’m shooting a MDT chassis/ 24” x 1.2” barrel/ Rimx/Beregara bolt action that’s weighs close to 20lbs.
I’m using two of the counter weights so I 3D printed a 1” riser that sits under the steady rest bag assembly and raises up the chassis to clear the counter weights when fully deflected upward. I purchased a couple of M5 x 40mm screws to replace the screws shown as #24 in the parts list. This addition works flawlessly and was a simple improvement.
I also purchased 3 swivel feet with the rubber bottom so I can shoot on concrete without damaging it.
Last but not least I purchased a carrying case from Harbor Freight (40% off ) that has pickable foam interior…total cost $38.00!
I will post a pic of case when it’s dialed in.
attached is a pic the day my rest arrived.

This is the case that fits the AR250. After I added the 1” riser I had to remove the adjustable bag side plates which doesn’t take but a few seconds. I remove the counter weights shaft and operating handle and store them in pockets cut in the foam alongside the main rest body. I also keep an Allen T Handle in the case that fits the counter weights and side plates so i dont have to dig for one out of my tool stash.
I think this is a really nice case thats perfect for the AR250.

Last week I had the chance to visit the ERABSF & WRABF Rimfire and Air Rifle 2025 World Cup in Finland. It was a very fun week meeting with all of the lovely people from more than 15 countries and learning from some of the very best. To say the least I have got so many feedback and input which I plan to implement very soon.

It was also during my time there that I officially announced the start of my new brand, LionWorks Engineering, from which I will sell all of my current and future products. I still have many product ideas in the pipeline and I believe this new brand will allow me the freedom to innovate and sell other types of products in the future.

In addition to the AR250, I now have a rest called Trident which is meant for benchrest centerfire. The rest features an extra wide base which is also foldable and will only take a little bit more space compared to an AR250 with a weight of only roughly 12lbs. The adjustable top will also be able to accomodate any rifle width between 1" to 4". A limited number of the rest is now available for preorder through my new website at Lionworksengineering.com. I hope to be able to have ready stocks by the end of September should all goes well.

For those who have AR250, I will also offer 2 accessories by the end of the year to provide extra stability, a foldable leg extension which will provide extra base width, and an extra heavy leveling screws which will provide extra weight and stability at the very edges of the rest. I have heard so many people commented on how light the rest is, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing. I believe that ideally a rest should be both stable, light, and easy to travel with. Which is why I want to put weight only where it matters most.

I would love to hear your feedback and input or what issues you have that I should address, maybe also some suggestions to further improve the current rests that I have. Thank you for reading.
