I have a type one Autotrickler with the upgrade kit from Area 419 and now up graded with the Ingenuity trickler that really speeded up the throw and virtually eliminated any over/under throw {we are talking about .02gr = 1 kernel of Varget}I said I wasn't going to do that, but I also said I wasn't going to spend that much on a scale either. Haha
Just hoping my pre-order for the whole Ingenuity unit comes through this year sometime… Just makes life so much easier and less time intensive with an automated powder throw system. If I can afford it and can see real value… Why Not?
I’m just not interested in being the richest person in the Bone Yard…!
BTW: The FX120i that came with the original setup about 10 years ago is still going fine without ever having a problem.
Just turn it on at least 1/2 - 1 hour before using to help it stabilise and be sure that there is no electrical interference. Fluo Lights are some of the worst things but other electrical devices can cause interference so keep them away and consider getting a “ferrite choke” the split kind that you can get from an electronic store that you can put a couple of wraps through and close. It helps keep “noise” from the line getting to the scale and even better if you have a small UPS/voltage conditioner.
This is good advice for any electronic scale.
