Yes, a materials/parts list and drawings would be great. I've been thinking of reloading room overhaul to gain some much needed room.

The height came out at 37 1/2” which is just a little higher than I wanted. I like to load standing up or setting on a tall stool so it will work fine for me.

If y’all really want, I can give you a sketch with measurements and a materials list, but the sketch won’t be pretty...lol.

Interesting way to do it. It doesn’t wobble when you size a case with a hardened neck? I need to make a loading bench and was gonna make it of heavy wood like 4x6s—. I do have a pipe threader though

I haven’t done any sizing yet, but very heavy it’s rock solid. I can’t imagine that anything I do in reload will induce any wobble.

Nice looking bench! Working threaded pipe or rigid conduit is an art. Its easy to "paint" yourself into a corner!

I'm king of into craft beer. Many of the craft breweries have shelves framed with black iron pipe. Some of the manifolds that house the tap lines are made from industrial pipe fittings. Some of the work is fantastic!

Very nice, I like the industrial look as well. I like the idea too that you could use the cross bar on the legs to rest your foot on if you wanted. I have got to remember this concept when I get around to my bench.
One thing you may want to consider is putting some rubber feet under the base of your bench legs. Steel against the hardwood floors is going to slide pretty easily when you start pulling on a press handle or such.

Thanks! I’m glad I’m not the only one who appreciates the piping when I visit a distillery or brewery.

I helped a buddy create his home brewing set up, but the actual brewing was too much cleaning for me...lol. He ended up opening a craft distillery and I helped him make some modifications to the original piping on his still. Some of that stainless steel work was definitely a work of art!

Thanks! That’s actually vinyl plank tile made to look like wood. I did use some little rubber stick on things that I got from my wife. I can slide it if I need to, but it’s not very easy.

I finally found time to finish my shelves for the new loading bench. All that’s left now is to mount my press and then unpack my scales. I might add some led lighting once I see how it goes.

I’m not sure that I’m following exactly what you’re saying, but there is definitely more than one way to skin the cat.

I did it this way because the two unions with a 1 1/4” nipple snugged up perfectly on the 3/4” thick shelf board. It turned out very strong with zero wobble.

Your right, there is no wrong way to do this. I was just thinking if you removed the short nipple and the union on the top of the shelf with the exception of the very top, and connect the long nipple into the union directly it would be cool.

But I must admit, I like the symmetry with the unions above and below.
