Is the general belief that the lack of availability is due to components being consumed by the loaded ammunition market that is being driven by all the new gun owners? If no, what are some of the alternate theories? The latest I’m hearing is raw material shortages...

We are learning just how short supply chains are (thanks to the bean counters). The economy restarting is going to put further strain on supply chains. New firearms purchases should taper off first followed by ammunition purchases. We will probably see .22LR come back before primers come back in stock.

Guys, I let you down.

I fat fingered a single character error in a critical line that communicates what ping it was.
These lines could not be tested until runtime.

This error only affected brownells products.

I spelled a parameter 'guid' instead of 'gid'.

But we did catch them in stock, every single one of them, but my spelling error cause it not to send.

Everything is fixed now.

Again, I am deeply sorry.

Ah, finally had time to take a snap of the 11k worth I managed. I promise these will be installed in their appropriate places shortly! I was indeed in need of these. But am pretty well off for now and just maybe need some SPP.

Also, Ben, I still need to call you guys as I accidentally ordered multiple services.

Yeah - I got my first text for Brownells and the website had signed me out, so by the time I pulled off the side of the road and got signed back in they were gone. Great tool though.

It seems to be getting harder and harder to score primers online. Glad I don’t need any for a while.

Working on some graphs so we can track it.

Only a small time sample these last few months.

Gotta think, usually these shops get a shipment of primers once a month, maybe twice?

LGS even less than that.

I am not making any promises, or even trying to create hope, but we are looking at a lot of options for our ammo company, and if we can get access to more than we need, I will resell them to the primerprimer folks.

We are months out.

At 9am my wife was informed her position had been eliminated (by her employer not me ...lol) but that just effectively wiped out my season until she gets another job or I restructure. I WANT to shoot but I don't NEED to while we have financial obligations that must be paid. Thanks. Hopefully I'll be back soon

I am sorry to hear about the work situation. That's is a bummer to hear.

Good on you for being financial responsible and having good outlook moving forward.

Hopefully when everything is fixed finding primers won't be such a PITA.

Either the suppliers have VERY small amount on inventory or the notification tool is not fast enough.
How can it be that you can only buy one brick and yet it gets sold out within 2 seconds?? Very frustrating.

there are other notification services out there with a lot of users....

There are THOUSANDS of people on a number of notification apps that are competing for the same items. Items are going to go OOS nearly immediately for the next several years. End of story.
