Would love for that to happen. If applicable and allowed.Easy at night, no escapes.
PCP is the tool. Way too much sheet metal around those bins for a rimfire.I would love to get in there at night with a rimfire wearing a can and a thermal. I've never done it but it sure sounds fun.
Had the same thing in west-central Illinois when I was a kid in the late '50s. Sheriff had certain men stationed around the town square (where the county courthouse was) to shoot pigeons. Group effort. My dad was one of the trusted shooters. Only allowed vertical shots and nothing bigger than 20-gauge and #8 shot, Pigeons were a serious problem and darned near owned the square! After the 'shoot' you could find dead pigeons for a two block radius of the downtown area! During the shoot you could hear shot rattling on roofs around the square...truly a different day.Im from a small town in Mo. When I was a kid the chief of police had a pigeon shoot around town. They had got to thick. I dont know what you had to do to get permission but dad and some of his buddies got to shoot pigeons in town with a shotgun. Just in certain places. Doug
How do the ballistics of the PCP compare to a subsonic .22? The only air rifle I messed with was a pump up Benjamin many decades ago and I know it would put a hole through a barn roof.PCP is the tool. Way too much sheet metal around those bins for a rimfire.
