Had the parts and decided project time. New 700 single shot action, a Model 12 6BR barrel cut down to 24"( got this from Cornhusker here, machined to a remage, third rifle this barrel has been on still holds 3/8 moa at 3,800 rds on my end), an old well used VLS stock that was bondoed and a bag rider grafted on. Paint job was poor boy urea prill effects and covered with candy red (sanded the damn thing to primer 5 times before getting the pattern I was after) and a Jewel I had on the bench. Threw a SWFA on it ( Golden Eagle on the way) went to the range and had a blast.
