Got a 1000 for you in the drawer at a real good price, gratis. That's nuts , it's been 6 months since they were around at least... I did pick up 1000 for $50 at my local academy a few weeks ago though....
i almost feel like that. if i could dig up 10K to sell thats 4200.00If somebody wants all my primers at 40 cents each I’ll meet anywhere in the country and then find a new expensive hobby.
Thank you I have been meaning to come by and shoot the breeze with ya...Got a 1000 for you in the drawer at a real good price, gratis.
I fell outta my chair, Awesome
you get my gold star!I could have easily made a quick grand reselling some .300 PRC ammo I had the opportunity to buy if I was like some others out there. Could have used an extra $1,000, but I just couldn't do it. I wasn't raised that way and I have to live with myself.
well ya know if i knew somebody and they needed them id sell them for what i had in them or mabie even give them to the person. If someone walks up to me and says hey ill give you 200.00 for those 1000 primers id sell them to them for what they wanted to pay me. no one will ever make me feel bad for selling something to someone for a profit. its the capitalist way.I have a hard time justifying gouging someone in need. I sold 1K of primers recently to someone for what I paid for them and don't regret it for a minute. I know him and he was in need. I hope he would do the same for me if the shoe was on the other foot. I did put a WTB ad here recently for 30-30 FN or RN bullets. I got several replies and the ones I bought from forum members were all very reasonably priced...no gouging. Thanks for that! IMO its something to remember!!
Yea, that is kinda different when a person sets his own price for an item. I have sold things in the past that I really didn't want to sell but if the person is willing to pay HIS price then so be it.well ya know if i knew somebody and they needed them id sell them for what i had in them or mabie even give them to the person. If someone walks up to me and says hey ill give you 200.00 for those 1000 primers id sell them to them for what they wanted to pay me. no one will ever make me feel bad for selling something to someone for a profit. its the capitalist way.
Most Definitely!! - The “bidders” are part of way to inflate the price.Do you guys think there are non paying bidders? People just bidding as they are pissed? Or do people actually pay this?? If they are actually paying this I am seriously contemplating selling some. My gosh I could damn near pay my house off.
A friend of mine is in a similar situation. Fortunately the local shop sold him 200 primers to get going. He’s a hunter so I’m not sure if he will even do load development or just try a book load or two.I recently had a friend express an interest in beginning to reload. I told him now is not the time to get in the game.
I offered to him that all he had to do was come by and I would teach him. He would not need anything as I will provide all necessary components, sans his saved brass, and hopefully when components again become available he can replace what we use for his loads.
I would much rather get another fellow shooter(s) interested in reloading than sell excess powder and primers....even at the prices they are currently fetching.
