This is the only way I run mine and it's fantastic. I have a little pop up tripod and use his adapter and just position the unit about an inch from the barrel.

How far from unit can you move the gun before noticing much. Don’t mind putting a few round through close to get numbers but if I shoulder a gun how far away do you reckon before I start seeing shots being missed within a foot or how much leeway might it have?

Ah ok this is what I needed. 8-20cm would be acceptable to my desired usage. Was main reason I couldn’t pull trigger on a magneto. Hopefully am able to snag one on next release. Thanks for your help

There is no way I would part with any more than around $200 for a device that does not allow me to change the battery so when this battery inevitable takes a dump what happens do you have to throw it in the bin and buy another one or pay somebody several hundred dollars to put another battery in it .

It’s a user changeable battery. It’s super easy to do and takes about five minutes.

Thank you for the information I did not know that was told on another forum was like a telephone you can't change the battery I don't suppose you know what size lithium cell that it takes . this could get expensive for me .

Been refreshing daily waiting for new batch to drop. Anyone have any pros/cons between this vs bulletseeker mach4? As they’re both the compact options id like to go with one of them but just wondering if I didn’t give bulletseeker enough of a look waiting for this

I got mine two weeks ago. $1023 with shipping and international credit card conversion fee. Ordered on a Thursday. Shipped on Friday and arrived to me the following Friday. Good tracking numbers, and well packaged.
Nice compact size and I have had it out twice and with known loads seems to be consistent to my Labradar. Nice I can throw it into my bag instead of hauling a separate case for the LabRadar.
I will be doing more testing in the next few weeks including head to head with LabRadar, and downloading comparisons.
Still have to figure out and test the Wi-Fi capability.

Might be a bit bigger and bulkier than the Andi
But the Andi is over $1000
Don't get me wrong, I like that someone else came out with a viable option,
and they got the size right. Needed to drop the price a bit to be competitive.
We thought when the Labradar came out it was too expensive and they are selling out.

The main reason I like my Andi-Scan over my LabRadar is the Andi-scan never throws some weird, random velocity out when a shooter down the line triggers it. If the Andiscan triggers it just doesn't show a velocity at all so its not recorded unlike the LabRadar.

That sounds like a nice feature. The noise from other shooters has me much pretty much leaving the LR on the case and grabbing the Magnetospeed with the wiser mount.
