This is a new experience. Built a modified 6x47(222 rem mag parent case). Found three sources of this hard to find brass on the market place. Oldest was in rem red boxes with address that did not have a zip code. A rem green bag of 100 sold by cabelas. Third was 250+ pieces, half never fired. I weight sorted them all. This last batch weighed much less than the other two, which were close. Tried annealing them all but this last batch did not show the color change with the neat bluish ring at the lowest point of the grey . the others looked like lapua after annealing. Now the problem...load development with all and primer pockets loosen after one firing with this lighter third batch! Compared primer seating resistance in unfired brass and, you guessed it, the third batch is loose from the start...the oldest brass is still tight even with stout loads. My choices? Try very light loads in third batch? Pockets already loose, so...? Searched "loose primer pockets" and read a lot. There were mixed responses about a rwhart device to" tighten" pockets. Tried different primers, but loose is loose. Will a primer sealent around base of the primer work, keeping it in pocket...?super glue, locktite? I have been spoiled shooting 6 BR lapua brass, so this is annoying. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
