New barrel= no copper?

Did break-in on a new Brux ; 1-10 , 6 flute last month , and got some very light copper with the first three patches . Have not seen anymore at any point , and the barrel has 300 rounds on it , including Az. State Match .
Checked closely with Bore-scope , and there is no copper anywhere in this entire barrel , so a shout-out to the guys at Brux for their fine work .
Those 14 -15 X-counts don't hurt either .

Is their "Ratchet Rifling" what all other intelligent humans on the planet call polygonal rifling or something else? Just took a look at it on their sight. To me it looks like they borrowed elements from polygonal and "R" to create their "Ratchet Rifling".

Since I have no experince with it I should ask how is it doing in BR and other competition related shooting sports?

I know polygonal is super easy to clean and often fouls far less than any other design. All of the various "R" configurations foul less and deformt he bullet jacket less than none "R" designs.

Since this seems to combine or be a re-imagining of polygonal and "R" forms of ballard tyoe rifling it looks like it would produce less fouling of all kinds than typical.

My 260 has a Brux barrel, and it doesn’t copper up like anything else I have. Shocked me the first time I cleaned it, after having shot it quite a bit.
