New Arken 7x35

You paid Arken. Arken contracted delivery services with UPS. UPS never delivered and has no evidence of delivery, so Arken is soley responsible for making a claim with UPS. Basic contract law, Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code.

Solution: Most retailers are lazy, so just file a dispute directly with your credit card and make Arken figure it out with the credit card. Meanwhile, order another scope using the discount. Should the first package eventually be delivered, simply return it under dispute.

*Had the package actually been delivered to you but damaged or missing items, Arken is still responsible for the claim but you are required to participate in the investigation since you are in possession of the package.

Got out today with the DNT and Arken to do a side by side. The glass in the DNT is better as in clearer and crisper image even in some mirage compared to the Arken in my one of each comparison. The Arken is not bad though for it's price range and actually better than my Bushnell Match Pro ED. I had a buddy of mine that was there take a look through both and compare them for his eyes and he agreed that the DNT did have better glass. Ergonomically they are basically the same scope. Both reticles will work for holds. I like the DNT has more illumination though.

I did also take the DNT to 1000 yards today on my 6mm ARC AR and it was hitting and I hit too smaller targets at 900 yards also. Mirage had gotten really bad though by the time we got to the 1000 yard range it was tough to see hits. Only shot the Arken out to the 550 yard range.

All in all both are good deals at $599 for what you get.

Just got my Arken 7-35. Really impressed. The image is bright and crisp edge to edge on 35x. Looking at buildings and trees from 100- 1500+ yards and it’s very impressive. Love the reticle too. Completely visible and useable on 7x and the center dot is plenty small enough for precise aiming on 35x.

Never looked thru a DNT, but from my personal experience, nothing can touch this new Arken EP5 7-35 at this price point or even twice the price point.

Yup the Arken is an excellent scope for it's price range and then some. Mine will stay on my .308 where I mounted it. Actually thinking about selling my Bushnell Match Pro ED and buying another one. LOL

Just bought a Magnum research 22 mag, needed a scope I could dial with and ended up buying another SH4 gen II. I probably should have tried a 7-35x and will at some point. I’m not familiar with DNT line of scopes. Took a look at them, basically looks like an Arken at a glance. I haven’t read the lastest on this thread so maybe that’s discussed, I’ll go back and catch up.

I bought the Arken off Amazon, seems like Arken’s sale pricing has become their standard pricing. Every time I check prices the remain at sale pricing.

If you file a dispute with the credit card company against Arken Optics, you tie their hands, and they can't do anything to take care of the order. Please email them first at info@arkenopticsusa.com for a resolution prior to dispute.
It sounds like Arken as a first option is already stalling and "screwing" the customer. The customer suffers by having to wait weeks(?) until it gets sorted out.

So, when option 1 fails, just file a dispute with the CC. Get your $$ immediately refunded to your CC. Let the CC figure it out with Arken. It's not your problem. Order another Arken online in a new order with the coupon and start using your scope asap. Or ue Amazon Prime next time, 2 day delivery and easy resolution/returns if there's a problem.

UPS, not Arken "screwed the customer". Sounds like their customer service could be better but they didn't screw up, the shipper did.
It is a very solid scope for the price point, so far I'm really happy with it. Reticle is very nice and the glass is pretty good! It is a TANK, right up there with the Vortex razors for weight. I'm going to run it for coyotes this winter and see how it holds up.

If it were true that Arken Optics was screwing customers, they couldn’t stay in business. They go out of their way to help out in every way possible. Also keep in mind, should anyone file a dispute, their funds are going to be tied up in remediation for a long period of time, while the credit card company files the remediation claim, and then it has to be investigated. You’re better off emailing them and getting it squared away. There are far too many happy customers for them to be doing anything like screwing anybody around. I’m not saying that Arken is perfect, but pretty dang close to it!!

I didn't mean Arken was intentionally screwing him. But that is in fact what happens, the customer gets the short end of the stick while Arken/UPS investigate. That takes days and often weeks to resolve. Arken has the customer's money and UPS has their money from Arken. Meanwhile the customer gets screwed meaning the customer's money is tied up at Arken he also has to wait days or weeks for either a refund or a replacement. The system is set up to screw the customer at least in the short term, even if they eventually make it right a week or two later.

Credit Cards are set up to protect the customer. So use the protection. File a dispute. Get your money back during the dispute, and use the money to order another scope. Tell Arken you disputed the charge and to cancel the original order.

UPS delivering to an address other than where intended is very nearly a daily occurrence here in the community where we spend our winters. The drivers tend to rely on GPS devices and don't bother making sure they are even on the correct street, much less at the correct address. FedEx isn't much better either.

I've never had an issue with either one of the companies delivering to either one of our houses on our property. We order plenty, deliveries almost daily.

Delivery drivers in general...

Doorbell rang this morning and a woman dropped off this really nice Shark-coochie-tree board.

We were like, uh, who sent this?

I set it on the island in the kitchen and started to go towards the bathroom when I heard cellophane crinkling.

I told whoever it was, not to open it because our having it was a mistake.

15 minutes later, I get a call from the neighbor 5 houses down.
"Hey man, did some woman drop a Shart-cootered-scree board off at your place?"

I said yep and told him I'd be over in a minute with it.

I have 5 Arkens now, have had my 7-35 for several months now. Very happy with all of them. No complaints with delivery or quality on any of them. The glass quality and tracking on all of them is fantastic. Highly reccomend them all the time. Can Not Beat the Price. On the other hand USPS, UPS and Fed X constantly dissapoint me ... listed in the Order of Magnitude, greatest to least. Just been lucky on my Arken deliveries.

Back to the Arkens 7x35's, not UPS, FedEx, or USPS and DNT scopes. I tried to order the LH MOA's and they are out of stock for the Black Friday deals. I was going to get 3 of the 6x24's for a few rifles. I have the 4x16 on a 22 and like it a lot. Wanting to hear more about the 7x35's for my longer range rifles that I don't shoot.

If you don’t shoot them then why scope them? Lol And after 13 pages not much more can be said about the 7-35 at this point.
