Nesika Model X fireforming at the Dasher DOME

Friday I got around to fire forming 20 pieces of brass for my Nesika X. I purchased the rifle a few years back out of Florida and it came as a PPC with a bolt opened to accept 308 based brass. I finally got around to putting a Dasher barrel on her.
I call her Plum Crazy.

Fireforming went well with the Hybrids. No misfires or split shoulders

I recognized the purple rifle as soon as I saw it. Still looks great. Sometime I wish I had it back.
Also I have a pickup with a similar but smaller grill. Chevy SSR 2004.

I had a 1951 GMC 5 window cab back in the 80's. Sure didn't look as nice as yours. Wish I still had it.

So COOL! Glad you responded. I had no idea who I bought it from. I knew it came out of Florida. Do you know who painted the stock, or any history on the rifle. Glen Harrison said the serial # indicated that the action may have been sold to a gunsmith by the name of MacCloskey (spell). It shoots great as a PPC

R.E. "Mac" McCluskey may very well have built the rifle. Here's a link to a stock that looks just like yours: http://mac.uptime.org/mpr/gallery.htm
He passed away in 2008. He was a big Nesika action fan, and he lived in the Seattle, WA area. I had one of his PPC rifles that I purchased from his wife, Angie. It was built on a Nesika C action, and it was a shooter!

It is a McCiuskey. I bought it from his estate. It was featured on his web site pictures.
With the short barrel I shot 62 grain bullets with slightly hotter powder. First match was 100, 200, and 300 I was clean except missed a switch in the wind and shot a 8 at 200 .

The serial # is MAC 2. I also have serial # 019.
Glenn Harrison told me that since they made less than 20 of the X actions they let the buyers put the serial # of their choice on the action.

Speedy had the Model X designed per his specs.
Here is Glenn Harrison's history or the orgins of the Model X
