2011
One cold Sunday afternoon shooting off the Back Porch Range John Kruzan, Junebug, and I got together for what turned out to be a memorable shoot. Temps were hoovering in the low 20's. We had a LP Gas heater in the closed in bedroom of Mammies old house. I figure the bedroom was added to the back porch at some point in time as Pap Jim had 12 kids. He died in 1950. I was not born until '52. But that bedroom makes for a nice place to warm up. I had my 'PLUM CRAZY' Nesika Model X PPC with me that day.
Kruzan shot a fantastic five shot, one hole group. Junebug would have beaten Johns group had he not had the one shot drop out.

John gloating with pride after shooting the group

Junebug and John with the target we shot that day.

Junebug's group is the lower one
Just floated one right

Junebug shooting his group. You can see the bedroom door.
I believe that is my Leupold 45X Competition scope

Fewer than 20 Model X's were made

This one is serial # MAC-2 When Nesika made a small run of special actions they would serial # them with the name of the purchaser in this case Mac McCloskey who may have bought two actions.
This rifle was pictured on his website before the website was taken down.

I have two of the Nesika Model X actions. ss # 019 and ss # MAC-2
Glenn Harrison, the designer of the X provided this info

Speedy and Yvette had the Model X designed for Yvette. My #019 has a barrel on it that is a Speedy barrel

S G & Y Rifles===Speedy Gonzales & Yvette Rifles

I haven't shot either X in a few years but they both get a steady diet of these
