Wheeler rifle "Hammers" at the DOME-erases 1 inch orange bull @ 800

Carlson Reece got schooled at the DOME Sunday about PPC's and shooting the 800 yard EGG. He gained first hand, hands on experience with a PPC and he got the first 800 yard EGG. Junebug zeroed the Wheeler BRAI at 800 with 6 shots and after erasing a one inch orange bullseye at 800 yards he turned the rifle over to Carlson first attempt at an egg at 800 yards.
Two shots later the egg shell flew right and left.

You can see the orange around the edges of the hit.

Carlsen fired 3 shots on top of my two shots with a Nesika 6mm PPC making one nice hole. Junebug and I also teamed up on a 5 shot group.
I had not fired the PPC since July, 2011.

I like the 800 yd PPC groups. I have used PPC in 500 yd matches for years and done well with it. Guess I need to stretch in out a bit. Thanks for sharing. What was the PPC load?

No. The PPC groups were at 100 yards, just had mounted the scope, and zeroing, then checking load.

Man, I thought you had some magic bullets. I went and shot a couple of 1000yd groups with my BRX this morning and I just kept thinking about the 800 yd PPC groups. I did no dismiss them because I have shot some 500 yd groups so small I don't often talk about them, so on a given day, never say never.
