need help with eyes

Does anyone know of a good eye doctor in central [ Altoona area ] Pa. that shoots competition? My eyes are at the point i can not see my bullet holes at 300 yards. Have been to several Doctors already with no help. need a dr. that knows what i am talking about.

well I read Dr Wongs article had some old eyeglasses, single RX tried them on and I must say I can now see my crosshair. I can't wait to go out tomorrow and look through my scope and see what is to be seen. I have progressive rx now but the single rx must be the answer to my problem. I may go to the doc and get some glasses with a rx not quite as strong for shooting.

I read the article and tried some older glasses on they seem to help but I haven't looked through my scope at daytime so I will update tomorrow.

Have you tried lookin through your scope with your glasses off, have you contacted BullzeyePro they may have your answer

For folks with an astigmatism this will never work. It only works if you have normal vision at some distance (near or far). The lenses to correct astigmatism are partially cylindrical.

When someone says his eyes "are getting to the point" I'd suspect some disorder, such as glaucoma or cataracts.

BTW, I've never been able to see bullet holes through my spotting scope past about 200 yds. Particularly bullet holes in black targets.

I am going to expand my range, and ask if anyone in western pa. knows of a eye doctor that shoots competition? I need to make an appointment.
