Do I need another scope?

I tried several different RF transmitters to get a targeting system going over the last 5 years with varying problems, mostly range on the transmitter through the wooded lane going back to my 500 yard target. Now I find all I have to do is mount my android cell phone on a tripod, point the camera at the target, turn on video chat and call my wife's phone. I then watch my bullets hit the target from the bench on my wife's phone. Works at any distance!

There has to be a down side to it. It can't be that easy. Really?

No down side unless you are in an area with no phone reception. I too was flabbergasted that it was so easy after all the money I spent on RF (900 Mhz, 2 Ghz, etc.) transmitters that didn't work worth a flip.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ but at 75?
I have a TargetCam which does a great job but at some point you have to go down range and tape/replace targets. I just ordered a ShotMarker which I'm pumped for trying.

I have shot several premium scopes at 600 yards over the last several years. I have shot three quite a lot. They are the 10-50X Kahles, the 10-50X Sightron, The 12-60X Golden Eagle and the 36X Valdada. All of these are great scopes, but I cannot see bullet holes at 600 yards with any of these. It may have something to do with my 75 year old eyes. I have seen bullet holes with the 15-55X NF Competition on occasion, but I don't own one of those scopes. Is there a reasonably priced scope with which one can see 6mm holes (at least those in the white) at 600 yards? I have also tested Nightforce and March premium scopes..

I use Kelbly rings on Davidson bases for all of the 30mm scopes, but had to use a BK adaptor for the 34 MM ones. There is not "slope" involved since I only shoot out to 600 yards.

if you are looking to shoot past 600yrds then you prolly need a new scope if not stick to what you have doing on.

None will see past the mirage. No spoting scope we'll see past the mirage.
On a rainy day last month, for the first time in 2 years, saw the holes appear as I shot !
