just got my PMA-A turner with 6mm carbide mandrel. I'm using the PMA expander and their lube to turn Lapua 6br brass. I'm turning the cases with a Sinclair case holder in an electric screwdriver at 200 rpm. I'm measuring case wall thickness with an RCBS ball mic.
About .0002 variation in thickness seems typical but sometimes up to .0004. Is this normal? Any tips for reducing variation further?
