National Records Mid Range F Open, FTR

I have noticed a lot of new records for Mid Range this year. I want to start off congratulating all these individuals on their accomplishments.
Which brings me to a personal experience this year. I was recently looking into the JR records this year for my son who started F Open this year and I thought was doing very well at Mid Range for his age and was curious what the JR records are. I do know the NRA is behind on keeping them up to date from previous complaints on threads. I am not trying to open that topic up again.
I did want to pass on what I learn this year. That to be qualified for a National Record for individual F Class Mid Range 60 shot course of fire it must be fired from 300, 500, 600 yds. This is laid out on page 72 for F Class.
Which all the ranges we shoot (in our area) are all 600 yd matches so a 60 shot course of fire all at 600 yds. will not qualify. Seems in my opinion as a handicap for some ranges to hold registered events that in fact could allow a individual to shoot a record because an range may not be set up for all distances.
Thoughts and or comments?

it depends on the record. Any individual match score shot during a registered match can set a national record. If your son shot a 200-27x next time he was at a regional or state championship that score would(should) be submitted for a national record.

If you're talking about an AGG record, you're spot on. Trouble is, who wants to shoot inside 600 when there is 600 available? Many of these rifles are so accurate you can't mark the target safely even with golf tees. If you want that record , you're probably going to have to travel.

Depends on on how the match was registered... as separate matches for each stage plus an agg, or just the agg. I've seen that before, where someone was all ecstatic that they broke a national record on a stage - nope, only the agg was registered as a match. So that 200-20+7 would look really awesome, but still not count.

Most commonly you see this for Palma courses i.e. doesn't matter how good you shoot @ 800 or 900, only the *agg* actually counts for a record.

Odd. I haven't ran across this but it makes sense if that is how the program is written.
