N140

I am working with N140 in 6br for 90 gr bullets with an eye for 105 as well. I am a little concerned that the case is nowhere near full. Is that a problem, should I consider N150?

I get the same results with 103’s and 105’s. The only problem I have with it is you can’t find it!!

N150 at 29.9 is my too for both bullets. 450 or benchrest primers.

N150 if you can get it is a lot more temp stable, and a little slower. A lot more bulk though.

31.5 in a BRA under a 105 hybrid. Barrel finally gave up the ghost after this relay… about 2500 rounds. Case fill is a meme. My rounds sound like maracas.

Edit: this is in a BRA. Your load will be lower. As always, start low and go slow so you don’t blow your face off.

I have tested N150 with 105 lapua scenars and have good results at 100 mters
load is 30.1 grains and speed is 2820 ftp
Have to test at longer distance soon.

I started at 29.2 gr of N540 and worked up to 30.4 gr. at 30.4 gr, I got about 2800 FPS, no pressure signs at all. My rifle is an 8 twist, 26 inch Bartlein.

I found 6 lbs of N540 and 8 lbs of N140 yesterday so I'm good for a day or 2

best accuracy so far was 31.32 gr N140 (2014 lot) = 2954 fps

I’m seeing good results with N150 and 105 VLD targets. This is a new barrel with 90 rounds on it so far. 28” barrel
