My Two 40X bench guns

Finally all done. I call them Bumblebee and the Supergun.

Just got BB back from getting the recoil lug pinned. Prototype Craddock Precision 243 barrel installed 1-10. Supposed to get another 243 barrel in Bartlein 5r 1-8 as time permits. Jewell trigger.

Supergun was built by Stick at S and S Precision. It is shown here with the 223A barrel installed. I have 6Br bolt and barrel also. Will be chambering a Kreiger 13.5 for 6BR with a short throat next.

Both are Nightforce BR.

i am sure this is nothing special to most, but I love my 40xs.

I honestly don't know. These two are both later model custom shop.

I have a yellow laminated like yours. Mine launches 105 gr. Bergers at 3450 fps. Been looking for a way to have the word "stinger" and this painted on it.

Have the local sign maker make you a killer vinyl sticker. They have cool software that can make it look amazing.

After I received the stock I had my buddy who paints Harleys shoot a quart of clear on it, wet sand it and buff it.

I would be afraid to own a beautiful wood stock, too worried to risk taking it out and getting a scratch. Doomed to plastics with the weathered tactical look, whereby more scratches accentuate the appearance!
