My Trijicon arrived today

5-50x56mm MOA . My first impression is that the reticle is very thin .This is from resting rifle on a on a chair back and sighting on stuff around my neighborhood from inside my house so no one sees or thinks I'm a threat.

Another thing is Trijicon bent over backward to give us a great deal ,box is loaded with goodies . My athlon Cronus just came with the scope and nothing else.

Reticle is supposed to be thin. The scopes are designed for precision work at long range. The illumination works very well to reveal the thin reticle better. I like green in the day time (if required) and red during twilight hours.

Summer conditions here in Reno NV the mirage is heavy . Shooting at 200 yds today I had to reduce power to 20x . How do soldiers with scopes rifle wage war in summer conditions ? I guess shoot a bunch of bullets .
